Né en 1963, Alain Andreatta, plus connu sous son nom de photographe Garami (©GaramiAA), est un photographe professionnel indépendant dont la passion pour l'image a débuté dès l'adolescence.

C'est en 1979, au sein d'un club photo, qu'il s'initie en autodidacte aux techniques du noir et blanc, une discipline qui a profondément influencé son approche artistique et affûté son regard. Plus tard, il se distingue en remportant plusieurs prix Départementaux, et différents concours , il obtient un Prix pour financer son premier reportage au Danemark.

 Dans les années 80, il réalise ses premières photos de concert des grands groupes de l’époque qu'il cède à des agences Anglaises qui le repère. Il a cette particularité de travailler léger et de ne pas s'encombrer d'objectifs lourds (contrairement à ses confrères), cela lui permet une grande mobilité, et plus de discrétion, surtout en coulisse.

A partir de1985, il découvre l 'univers du cinéma et de la télévision aux Studios de Billancourt puis de  Boulogne, ou il photographie de nombreux acteurs et actrices en tournage. Il cumule pendant des années un emploi stable et la Photographie Indépendante. Parallèlement il voyage en Asie, et en Europe et rapporte plusieurs reportages publiés. Ancien Photographe Indépendant Professionnel en Agence, spécialiste Culture littérature, il a collaboré avec de nombreux écrivains et les maisons d'Editions. 

Membre de l'Union des Photographes Professionnels (UPP), il mène également des projets de photographie artistique personnels, qu'il expose régulièrement. À travers son objectif , Alain Andreatta continue d'explorer et de partager sa vision, qu'il s'agisse de documenter des instants culturels ou de livrer des œuvres plus introspectives.

Alain Andreatta was born in 1963.

  Self-taught, his career in photography started in 1979 at a local photo club where he discovered the magic of taking pictures and developing black and white photos.

In time, he went on to win several regional awards and contests for his photography, including a prize that financed his first photo assignment in Denmark.

In the 80s, he started photographing major bands in concert. His photos were picked up by English agencies who were particularly impressed that, unlike his colleagues, he was able to work light without lugging around heavy equipment, giving him exceptional mobility and discretion, especially backstage.

In 1985 he entered the world of film and television at Billancourt Studios, and later at Boulogne Studios, where he photographed numerous actors and actresses during film shoots.  Over the years he became well-established, working steadily as an independent photographer.  He also traveled widely in Asia and in Europe, bringing back several published photo-essays.

Today, Alain Andreatta is a full-time Professional Independent Photographer, working for a press agency.  Specialist in literature and culture, his work includes collaborations with writers and publishers, as well as his own artistic projects.
